2024 Lecture Series
February 23 & March 15
Join us for a free morning of professional learning designed with school mental health practitioners in mind! Let’s delve into the profound impact of guilt and shame, helping participants to understand, normalize, and identify these emotions. We will explore how guilt and shame affect both students and adults within the educational system by polarizing our communities, while also discussing the different stages of social justice reform. Guiding participants through metamorphustice (TM), the presentation will culminate in actionable steps for creating positive change within schools by releasing the burdens of guilt and shame and focusing on empathy, open dialogue, and understanding.
3 Social Work CEs or 3 SCECHes are included.
